We are recruiting for new tour leaders and guides in Scotland!

Our Active England guides are the heartbeat of our tours. With their local wisdom, can-do attitude and an eye for the unusual, our mission is to be all-round perfect companions on your adventures around the UK. 

Taking care of your every need, no detail is too small. For us, it’s all about being attentive, to you and to the vibe of the group. So whether you’d like a gentle ride along the Cornish coast or a rigorous hike to the highest peak in England, we’re always by your side, ensuring you enjoy your trip at your own pace and in your own time.

Our typical trips are 6 day long packages, our guides attend with the guests to meals, lead the activities and assist the travelers with everything needed. To lead with Active England, we expect guides to lead on a minimum of 4 weeks of tours through the UK summer season. You need to have a UK full driving license. Other qualifications are appreciated such as leadership and first aid qualifications, but not mandatory as we offer to supply these courses. If your passion is customer service, you love to travel and you're hard working, we want to hear from you.

We operating walking, cycling, hiking, and luxury tours all across the UK. The majority of our tour guiding opportunities are in the Cotswolds / Southern England but we are quickly expanding our working opportunities into Scotland also. We are currently actively recruiting for Scottish local guides.

Applicants can apply from any residence for any regional leadership with experience in the regions, and training being offered. We are particularly looking for guides in the luxury sector at the moment, with an interest in guiding across the UK. We conduct a 3 stage interview process, informally, to make sure we recruit the most suitable and best candidates for leading our tours.
