Role Summary

  • Lead clinical risk management across the digital health platform.
  • Shape the company's clinical safety practices across the product lifecycle.
  • Own the Clinical Risk Management System, update safety artefacts, conduct risk assessments, and make clinical release decisions.
  • Lead hazard identification workshops and validate risk mitigations.

Role Requirements

  • Active registration as a healthcare professional and formal training in clinical risk management.
  • Experience in clinical safety roles within health IT or digital health environments.
  • Thorough understanding of DCB 0129/0160 standards, and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in managing clinical safety documentation, leading cross-functional teams, and understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks for digital health products.

The Role We are seeking an experienced Clinical Safety Officer to lead clinical risk management across our digital health platform. You will establish and oversee the clinical safety framework, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance. This role involves shaping clinical safety practices throughout our product lifecycle, from design to deployment. You will own our Clinical Risk Management System, update key safety artefacts, conduct risk assessments, and make clinical release decisions. Your work will include leading hazard identification workshops, validating risk mitigations, and embedding clinical safety frameworks into team workflows.

Job Requirements The ideal candidate will have an active registration as a healthcare professional and formal training in clinical risk management, such as NHS England’s Digital Clinical Safety Practitioner course. You should have experience in clinical safety roles within health IT or digital health environments, a deep understanding of DCB 0129/0160 standards, and strong analytical skills. Experience in managing clinical safety documentation, leading cross-functional teams, and knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks for digital health products is essential.
