Role Summary
- Contribute to building the next generation of the medical platform, enhancing patient outcomes and scaling services
- Work closely with product managers, engineers and various stakeholders to design and deliver significant backend solutions
- Responsibilities include designing, implementing and maintaining core backend systems, and creating scalable and high-performing APIs
Role Requirements
- Strong experience with Python/Django or Ruby on Rails, and developing scalable web APIs
- Familiarity with both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases
- Attentiveness to system health, monitoring and debugging
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Commitment to mentoring and supporting team members in their professional development

The Role We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our supportive and collaborative team. In this role, you will contribute directly to building the next generation of our medical platform, improving patient outcomes, and scaling our services. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver backend solutions that have a meaningful impact. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining core backend systems, building scalable and high-performance APIs, and collaborating with frontend teams.
Job Requirements The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python/Django or Ruby on Rails, proven ability in designing and developing scalable web APIs, and familiarity with both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases. A careful attention to system health, observability, monitoring, and debugging is essential.
