Role Summary

  • Plan, manage, and implement learning programmes aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Use learning technologies to measure and deliver learning initiatives at scale.
  • Coordinate programme design, scheduling, communications and logistics for each initiative.
  • Gauge programme effectiveness and present outcomes.
  • Manage the Learning Programme budget and support international roll-outs.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in managing end-to-end learning programme delivery in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency with learning technologies (e.g., LMS administration, e-learning, virtual training platforms).
  • Exceptional project management skills, and ability to evaluate learning impact.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices (desirable).
  • Skill at creating and managing learning budgets and supporting global learning delivery or coordinating programmes across multiple regions (desirable).

As Learning Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of Newton’s learning programmes, ensuring our people have access to timely, relevant and effective development opportunities. You will leverage technology to support delivery and to measure impact. Managing the Talent Coordinator and working closely with the wider Talent team, subject matter experts and business leaders, you will support the curation, coordination and implementation of learning experiences that enable career development, leadership growth and technical excellence across Newton. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Plan and manage the delivery of learning programmes across Newton, aligned to strategic priorities.  
  • Coordinate programme design, scheduling, communications and logistics for each initiative. 
  • Leverage learning technologies (e.g. the Learning Management System, e-learning tools, AI platforms) to deliver training at scale and maximise efficiency.
  • Evaluate programme effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics and report on outcomes. 
  • Proactively manage the Learning Programme budget.
  • Support global rollout of learning initiatives, ensuring consistency and cultural fit across regions.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly organised, tech-savvy learning professional who can manage complex programmes, engage stakeholders at all levels, and deliver measurable learning outcomes. 

Essential skills and experiences we are looking for: 

  • Experience managing end-to-end learning programme delivery in a corporate or professional services environment. 
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with an eye for detail. 
  • Proficiency with learning technologies (LMS administration, e-learning content development, virtual training platforms). 
  • Ability to evaluate learning impact using data and analytics, and present insightful reports. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. 
  • Experience of creating and managing learning budgets.
  • Experience supporting global learning delivery or coordinating programmes across multiple regions (desirable). 
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices. (desirable)

We offer a highly competitive salary (£55,000 - £65,000) and our generous benefits package includes Life Assurance, Income Protection, pension contributions and 28 days holiday (not including bank holidays). We also operate profit share and equity schemes so that our people share in the success of the business. The profit share bonus is based on company performance and typically paid out in March and September.
