Role Summary:

  • Conduct market, competitive, and business analyses to support strategic decisions.
  • Partner with senior leaders to turn strategic plans into actions.
  • Prepare and contribute to executive and board discussions.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities.

Role Requirements:

  • An analytical background in consulting, strategy or similar roles within high-growth organisations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Curiosity and proactivity, comfortable with ambiguity and driving clarity.
  • Interest in purpose-driven work and improving healthcare outcomes. Experience in healthcare or other regulated sectors is a bonus.

The Role

As we continue scaling across Europe, we’re looking for a Director of Strategy. This role sits at the heart of Oviva’s global strategy execution, embedded in the CEO Office. You will lead key strategic initiatives that drive clarity, alignment, and execution across the organization while working closely with the Senior Director Strategy, CEO, and Executive Team.

You’re a structured, analytical thinker who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys turning strategy into action. You bring strong project leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills and you’re motivated by making things happen.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A background in consulting, strategy, or similar analytical roles within high-growth or complex organisations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects from concept to execution.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • A curious and proactive mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity.
  • A genuine interest in purpose-driven work and improving healthcare outcomes.
  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated sectors is a bonus.
  • Lead high-priority strategic initiatives end-to-end, from scoping to implementation. This could include market expansion, new product or service launches, or operational improvement programs.
  • Run Oviva’s OKR process, coordinating planning cycles, mid-term check-ins, and retrospectives, while ensuring alignment and accountability across all departments.
  • Conduct market, competitive, and business analyses to support strategic decisions, using a hypothesis-driven and data-led approach.
  • Partner with senior leaders across product, commercial, clinical, finance, and people teams to turn strategic ideas into executable plans.
  • Prepare and contribute to executive and board discussions by structuring insights, recommendations, and progress updates.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities, ensuring strong communication and smooth execution at every stage.
