About the Role

The Business Support Assistant plays a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. This role provides administrative, operational, and project support across multiple functions, helping the wider team stay organised, informed, and efficient. It’s ideal for someone early in their career who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how a growing business operates.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain internal documents, trackers, and shared drives.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations as required.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating team communications.
  • Help ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for team members.

Customer & Supplier Coordination

  • Support customer service with ticket triage and basic enquiries.
  • Liaise with suppliers, partners, and freelancers to gather information or follow up on tasks.
  • Assist with order tracking, stock updates, and documentation.

Project Support

  • Support the operations and commercial teams with data entry, research, and background preparation.
  • Help track project timelines and ensure tasks move forward.
  • Take meeting notes, circulate action points, and follow up on outstanding items.


Process & System Support

  • Maintain accuracy of records in tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, HR systems, Shopify, or Notion.
  • Spot inconsistencies in data and flag issues early.
  • Assist with general process improvement and documentation.


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication- English native/ bilingual.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and tools quickly.
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a remote or cross-functional team.
  • Experience in admin, operations, customer support, or a similar role (preferred but not essential).
