Impact Investment Origination Analyst

Ceniarth is searching for a talented early-career finance professional to join our London office. This role will be part of the Impact and Origination team, which is responsible for identifying and assessing hundreds of new impact investing opportunities every year, along with impact monitoring across our portfolio. The Origination Analyst will be primarily responsible for the initial financial assessment of new opportunities, along with participating in the broader work to manage our pipeline and impact processes. This role will work closely with our Investment Team to accurately assess risk in new fund and direct lending opportunities and support our Investment Committee to decide which deals progress to full diligence. 

Responsibilities

• Lead initial financial analysis for newly originated investment opportunities
• Participate in our broader origination process; research target sectors, identify new investments, meet with management of potential investees, attend industry events, maintain relationships with co-investment partners, prepare investment committee materials
• Support our impact assessment and monitoring processes 

Profile

• Top tier undergraduate education 
• 2 or more years work experience in a financial analysis role, such as investment banking or private equity
• Strong process orientation and relationship management skills
• Exposure to emerging market economies
• Demonstrated interest in impact investing
• Eligible to work in the UK
