Role Summary
- Leading overland tour groups across different global locations.
- Collaborating with an Overland Truck Driver on certain tours, for up to a year at a time.
- Independent leadership on certain tours such as Japan and South Korea.
- Overseeing food and cooking during the expeditions.
- Maintaining organization and professionalism in all dealings.
Role Requirements
- Highly motivated and organized.
- Professional and enthusiastic about travel.
- Confident in dealing with groups and local people/officials.
- Competent cooking skills.
- Proficiency in using Excel Spreadsheets and creating Word Documents.
We are looking for Overland Expedition Leaders to work remotely leading our overland tour groups of up to 28 people taking them to various destinations across Africa, Asia, The Middle East and South America. Successful candidates can expect to work on the road alongside an Overland Truck Driver for up to 1 year at a time leading tours such as our Africa Encompassed. Cartagena to Rio, Dubai to Amman and Istanbul to Beijing overland expeditions.
You can also expect to work solo occasionally on tours such as our Japan and South Korea tour.
Successful candidates need to be motivated, organised, professional and enthusiastic about travel. You need to be confident in dealing with groups of people as well as dealing with local people and officials. You should also be a competent cook as you would be overseeing the food and cooking during the expeditions. You will also need to be familiar with using Excel Spreadsheets and creating Word Documents.
