Role Summary

  • Hands-on involvement in building and maintaining operational data infrastructure
  • Linking the Data team with the rest of the organisation and supporting systems for the student and client lifecycle
  • Drive the shaping and management of operational data across our systems

Role Requirements

  • Proficiency in Data Migrations & Transformation, Structuring Data Properties, Designing Data Collection, Translating Business Requirements, Managing Change, Integration Management
  • Problem-solving skills, Systems Thinking, Commitment to Data Integrity, Ability to communicate concisely, Growth mentality, Curiosity, Integrity and Technical Aptitude
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, experience with Zapier, and basic knowledge of SQL or Python

ABOUT THE COMPANY Code First Girls is on a mission to close the gender gap in the tech industry by providing employment through free education. We’ve already helped more than 300,000 women learn to code, and by working with companies globally, we’re boosting employability, diversity and social mobility, transforming local economies and communities. But we are expanding further with the launch of our Code First Teams brand (for employee training) and opening up more international opportunities and markets with our client partners.

ABOUT YOU & THE ROLE As a Data Operations Specialist within the Data & AI team, you will play a hands-on role in building and maintaining our operational data infrastructure. This role operates at the heart of our business, understanding that data powers everything we do (from enrolling a student to tracking a corporate partnership). You will be a vital link between the Data team and the rest of the organisation, ensuring our systems support the entire student and client lifecycle.

JOB REQUIREMENTS We are looking for someone to shape how operational data is structured, captured and managed across our systems: Data Migrations & Transformation, Structuring Data Properties, Designing Data Collection, Translating Business Requirements, Managing Change, Integration Management. A Logical Problem Solver, Systems Thinker, Commitment to Data Integrity, Concise Communicator, Growth, Curiosity and Integrity, Technical Aptitude are all essential. Familiarity with HubSpot, experience with Zapier, and basic knowledge of SQL or Python is highly desirable.

BENEFITS Salary: £35k to £45k DOE. Annual leave: 20 days + 7 days over Christmas + 1 Special Occasion Day (+ 8 bank holiday days). Optional: Buy or sell 3 days of holiday, 1 Giving back day, option to work 2 days over the festive period and get additional days back. Parental leave: 16 weeks full pay for the primary caregiver, 6 weeks full pay for the secondary caregiver. Phased return to the office for the primary caregiver (work for 4 days at full pay for 2 months). Flexible working: Our standard working hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm, but we offer flexibility to fit your work around your life. Work from Abroad: Opportunity to work from abroad for up to 90 days a year. Free CFGdegree education: After working at CFG for 6 months you are able to take our 16 week CFGdegree, worth £10,000 of education! 6% matched pension: CFG will match your pension contribution up to 6%.
