The Early Careers Attraction Manager will report to the Early Careers Recruitment Lead responsible for the overall graduate attraction process.  As such, many of their responsibilities would be focussed on enabling the effective attraction of thousands of quality applicants each year.  These responsibilities will include:

Attraction Campaign Strategy & Delivery

  • Own the strategy for the early careers attraction campaign, ensuring alignment with business objectives and post-campaign data analysis.
  • Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and put solutions in place where necessary.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on campaign progress.
  • Assist with the execution of diversity attraction strategies on campus.

University Partnerships

  • Manage relationships with key target universities to strengthen brand presence.
  • Determine tiering strategy based on business needs and market insights

Event Management

  • Plan, coordinate and book campus events and other attraction activities
  • Assist in the planning of all recruitment activities including careers fairs, presentations and campus events.
  • Represent Newton at Recruitment events, promoting excellence within the recruitment team.
  • Support the delivery of our offer holder engagement activities

Supplier Relationships

  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key suppliers - e.g. Newton’s stash providers, logistics providers and various research and job board providers
  • Monitor the implementation and testing of changes made to the use of these suppliers each year, mitigating the risk of any delays.
  • Understand the requirements that the Early Careers team has of its suppliers and identify cases where these aren’t fully being met.

Requirements

Our team set the bar high. Our people drive our business. The quality of your work and ability to communicate with colleagues and client teams at all levels make Newton exceptional. Our people possess key qualities that make them stand out as exceptional individuals.

Key skills and experiences we are looking for:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in early careers recruitment, attraction and/or marketing, ideally within professional services.
  • Understanding of the EC attraction market and have experience of working with universities / colleges / schools to promote opportunities.
  • Experience either direct or indirect/informal line management (ideal but not essential)
  • A high calibre individual, with drive and eagerness for personal development.
  • Strong organisational, programme and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Thrive on early responsibility and be self-motivated and driven to success.
  • An analytical mind to solve the challenges of recruitment
  • Strong, effective communication skills which allow you to excite a candidate and inspire confidence in key stakeholders.
  • A positive attitude, and the desire and drive to make things better, is essential to fit into the Newton culture.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a collaborative approach.
  • Self-aware, with the willingness to receive and act on feedback.
  • A genuine passion for diversity, inclusion and social mobility.

Special requirements we are looking for:

  • This role will be based at either our Oxfordshire or London office with a flexible hybrid approach. You will be required to run attraction events in person so travel will be required occasionally across the UK including some overnight stays.

If travelling for work, Newton will reimburse your travel expenses in full, in line with our expenses policy. When appropriate, and with approval from your line manager, Newton will cover the cost of accommodation the night before recruitment events or interviews too. We can expense travel via public transport, or as mileage. You do not need a driving license for this role
