As a Senior Engineer on the AI Customer Interface team, you will have a crucial role in designing our AI decisioning solution.
Role responsibilities:
- You'll be vital in supporting our self-serve AI Decisioning product in Vue.js and TypeScript.
- Rebuilding the existing Vue.js application in React and integrating it with other customer engagement platform APIs.
- Developing new interfaces and experiences to enhance AI decisioning performance.
Required skills include:
- 3+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in in modern frontend languages and frameworks.
- You should be capable of backend development and integration of frontend applications with server-side APIs.
- A user-centric attitude with an emphasis on UX and clean, maintainable code.
It would be an advantage if you have experience with Ruby on Rails and/or Node.js, or exposure to machine learning and data-intensive applications.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Engineer on Braze’s AI Customer Interface team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI decisioning solutions. You will work on high-impact initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in our product offerings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Braze’s self-serve AI Decisioning product built in Vue.js and TypeScript
- Rebuilding the Vue.js application in React, and integrating it with other customer engagement platform APIs
- Building new interfaces that provide insights into the performance and behavior of AI decisioning agents
- Building new experiences that allow users to customize their own AI Decisioning-powered marketing campaigns
WHO YOU ARE
- Have 3+ years of relevant experience
- Are skilled at working in modern frontend languages and frameworks (TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular, etc)
- Comfortable contributing to backend development and integrating frontend applications with server-side APIs
- Have significant experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)
- Have a user-centric attitude and care deeply about UX
- Pride yourself on writing elegant, maintainable code
- Are comfortable working in a large frontend codebase with many stakeholders
- Strongly preferred:
- Experience developing user experiences for machine learning and data-intensive applications
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and/or Node.js
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning concepts and applications
