Role Summary:

  • Take charge of our acquisition strategy across SME and Enterprise segments.
  • Drive growth by planning, executing, and optimising paid marketing campaigns which will improve ROI and meet our ambitious growth targets.
  • Expand our organic reach with a sharp focus on SEO.
  • Manage our conversion rate optimisation (CRO) strategy for our website, thefirstmile.co.uk, and collaborate with our UX Designer to deliver a top-notch user experience.


Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in performance or growth marketing roles, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing channels, specifically Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing).
  • Proven capability in managing large digital marketing budgets and delivering healthy ROI.
  • Masterful skills in CRO, web analytics, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams including UX, Sales, and Customer Facing.
  • A real passion for sustainability and commitment to making a positive impact on the planet.

The Role We're looking for a commercially minded Performance Marketing Manager to drive growth across both our SME and Enterprise segments. You'll own our acquisition strategy end-to-end — from attracting new SME customers through our digital channels, to building pipeline and demand for Enterprise sales. This role is all about measurable impact: planning, executing, and optimising paid marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, improve ROI, and fuel our ambitious growth targets and growing our organic reach through SEO. You'll also own our conversion rate optimisation (CRO) strategy and roadmap for thefirstmile.co.uk, working closely with our UX Designer to deliver an exceptional onsite experience that converts visitors into customers.

Job Requirements Proven experience in performance marketing or growth marketing roles, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment; minimum of 3 years' experience. Deep understanding of digital marketing channels in particular Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing). Hands-on experience managing large digital marketing budgets and delivering strong ROI. Expertise in CRO, web analytics, and A/B testing tools. Strong analytical mindset – able to translate data into clear, actionable strategies. Excellent collaboration skills, comfortable working cross-functionally with UX, Sales, and Customer Facing teams. A passion for sustainability and making a positive impact on the planet.
