The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation dedicated to improving health by supporting bold science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships. We are committed to spending £16bn over the next ten years to fund new discoveries in life, health, and wellbeing, and to address three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease, and climate and health. These challenges require the bold science we support, but they also need more than science alone.

The role: As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will join our team on a part-time basis, working 3.5 days per week, including Mondays. You will be part of the payroll team within the Financial Accounting department, reporting to the Payroll Manager. Job requirements: We are seeking someone with a recognized Payroll qualification or certification and experience managing both in-house and outsourced payroll/pension providers. You should have experience with end-to-end payroll processing for 200+ staff, including control and review processes, and up-to-date knowledge of statutory compliance (PAYE, NIC, Student Loans, Parental Pay, Auto-enrolment, Court orders, salary sacrifice, and taxable benefits). Strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for collaborative, cross-team working are essential.

Benefits: Wellcome offers a hybrid way of working, with three days in our Euston Road offices and two days working remotely. We are committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring a fair and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. We offer excellent benefits and support for personal development.
