Role Summary

  • Develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy targeting charitable trusts and foundations, both domestically and internationally.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to identify and secure significant multi-year funding for conservation, education, and art programs.
  • Build strategic relationships and formulate compelling proposals to ensure resilience and fulfillment of DSWF's long-term objectives.

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in securing funding from trusts and foundations.
  • Exceptional writing skills for drafting funding applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong financial literacy and an interest in conservation are necessary.
  • Experience in international grant-making and a background in environmental conservation are desirable.

Our approach integrates community involvement and addresses the root causes of wildlife crime.

The role: As the Trusts & Foundations Manager, you will develop and deliver a robust fundraising program targeting charitable trusts and foundations both in the UK and internationally. You will work closely with the Senior Management Team to identify and secure significant multi-year funding, focusing on conservation, education, and art programs. This role is pivotal in building relationships and crafting compelling proposals to ensure DSWF's long-term resilience and strategic goals.

Job requirements: The successful candidate will have proven experience in securing funding from trusts and foundations, excellent writing skills for funding applications, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong financial literacy and a genuine interest in conservation are essential. Experience in international grant-making and a background in environmental conservation are desirable.
