Dream Escape is a leading luxury travel design, destination and incentive specialist for England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Our expert team crafts immersive journeys for all group sizes across both leisure and corporate sectors, working closely with the finest accommodations and top-tier partners to provide an incredible experience for every guest. We are seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and client-focused destination management Travel Designer specialising in UK and Ireland to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, coordinate, and deliver unique and memorable travel experiences tailored to the needs of individuals, groups, or corporate clients. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of travel destinations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to design and manage complex itineraries.

Job Summary:

• Full-Time/Flexible Hours can be considered for the right candidate.

• Required to be based in Republic of Ireland (work from home)

• Salary will be dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Travel Design and Planning

• Collaborate with travel advisors/clients to understand their travel goals, preferences, and budgets.

• Research and design bespoke itineraries featuring iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and authentic cultural experiences.

• Create bespoke itineraries that balance client desires with logistical and budgetary feasibility.

• Stay updated on Ireland and UK travel trends, events, and seasonal opportunities to create unique offerings.

• Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers and partners across the UK & Ireland Logistics and Coordination

• Gather costs and book, accommodations, transportation, guides, private experiences and admissions.

• Liaise with all suppliers to ensure seamless execution of each itinerary.

• Monitor reservations and ensure all bookings are confirmed and accurate.

• Skilled at being able to manipulate and change complex itineraries with numerous suppliers, based on changes in client’s requirements. 

Client Support and Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for travel advisors/clients throughout the planning process.

• Provide timely updates, travel documents, and support for any itinerary changes.

• Address and resolve any issues that arise during planning to ensure client satisfaction.

• Telephone and e-mail cover as part of an out-of-hours on-call rota. Administrative and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and feedback.

• Manage budgets effectively to maximise profitability whilst maintaining value to the client.

Experience Required

• Proven experience in travel design, destination management, or a related field with expertise in Ireland and UK.

• Strong knowledge of popular and off-the-beaten-path destinations across Ireland and the UK, but specifically Ireland.

• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and complex itineraries simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in writing bespoke and personalised itineraries.

• Experience working with luxury or high-end travel advisors, clients, hotels and suppliers.

• An in-depth understanding of the travel advisor market and consortiums (Virtuoso, Signature, Internova), specifically the North American market.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
