Role Summary:
- Educate!, East Africa's largest youth skills service provider, is seeking a passionate and proactive Product Owner to join its dynamic Technology team.
- The chosen professional will be instrumental in solving end-user problems, developing product roadmaps, and executing strategic business initiatives into technology products.
Role Requirements:
- Must possess exception project management skills, analytical prowess, and a broad understanding of the tech product development process.
- A proven track record of independently driving the design of tech products with a major focus on the end-user, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is a must.

Educate! prepares youth in Africa to learn, earn and thrive in today's economy by introducing an employment-focused school subject into secondary and delivering livelihood boot camps for out-of-school youth, with a focus on marginalized rural girls and young women. To date, more than 500,000 youth have been meaningfully impacted across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
The Role
Educate!, the largest youth skills service provider in East Africa, is seeking a Product Owner to join our ambitious and cross-functional Technology team. We are looking for a product professional who is excited and passionate about solving consumer-facing problems, developing product roadmaps, and executing those plans to bring value to end-users. The ideal hire will help the product team meet and exceed its goals by translating strategic business initiatives into technology products. The Product Owner will be part of a new and growing Technology team and will provide support to the product, delivery and M&E teams.
Job Requirements
You are the right fit for this role if you are a master coordinator and exceptional project manager, analytical and data-driven, possess a broad understanding of the tech product development process, have independently driven the design of technology products in a team, with a strong focus on the end-user, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
