Pennies is an award-winning charity and a pioneer in fintech for good, making everyday giving simple through micro-donations at the point of sale. Recently celebrating 15 years of impact and 300 million micro-donations unlocked for 1,100 charities, we work with more than 150 leading brands across retail, hospitality and payments.

New partners to join the Pennies movement in 2025 include Iceland, B&Q, Lidl, Debenhams Group and SSP. With demand for digital giving higher than ever, Pennies is entering an exciting phase, and the opportunity to make a real difference for charity has never been greater.

Joining Pennies means being part of a purpose-driven, innovative team that combines technology, creativity and partnership to make charitable giving accessible, affordable and impactful – with real opportunity to shape our future and yours.

Position Summary

Pennies is growing fast. With an increasing number of merchants joining our movement to make digital giving simple, sustainable, and powerful, we are expanding our marketing team to support this exciting growth.

As one of two Partner Marketing Managers, you will work closely with your counterpart, the Head of Marketing and Charities, and the wider Partnerships Team to deliver creative and effective marketing campaigns with our partners. Together, you will also help shape how we use marketing to grow donations and engagement with existing partners in the future.

This is a dynamic and varied role that combines strategic partnership management with hands-on creative delivery. You will lead marketing initiatives with a range of partners across retail, hospitality, payments, and technology. The role involves managing relationships, creating content, and ensuring that every collaboration helps grow donations and makes a difference for charities.

You will be comfortable working across the full marketing mix, from writing copy and designing assets (using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva) to planning campaigns and coordinating activity across multiple stakeholders.

  • Design creative and on-brand marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) and Canva.
  • Write and edit compelling copy for partner campaigns, social posts, email content, and in-store materials, ensuring strong storytelling and message clarity.
  • Produce best-practice launch materials, including point-of-sale assets, colleague engagement tools, and milestone communications.
  • Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager to feature partner activity across Pennies’ owned channels such as the website, email, and social media.
  • Support co-marketing activity with key payments and technology partners alongside the Head of Product and Technology.

Strategic Development and Collaboration

  • Work with your fellow Partner Marketing Manager, the Head of Marketing and Charities, and the wider Partnerships Team to evolve how marketing drives donation growth with existing partners.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of partner marketing strategy, processes, and assets to support Pennies’ scaling ambitions.

Resource and Process Management

  • Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers as needed to deliver campaigns and creative work.
