Qualifyze is seeking a proactive and clear-thinking People Director to manage and execute the company-wide HR strategy and operations, working closely with the CEO and Leadership team. As a valued member of the team, your role as People Director is focused on fostering customer-centricity, driving change, and ensuring progressive improvement.

Role Summary

  • Formulate and execute people strategies in alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead core HR specialisms including Talent Acquisition, People Operations, etc.
  • Manage a team of people specialists across different areas.
  • Support the transition to the target operating model.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in people, organisation and HR roles (10+ years), with at least 3 years leading teams.
  • Experience in high growth, high change environments especially in Spain, Germany, USA, and India.
  • Deep experience within the technology industry, preferably in software, platform or life sciences.

As the overall People Director at Qualifyze, you will be responsible for owning and executing the end‑to‑end people strategy, ensuring it directly powers our business goals and growth ambitions. In the next year ahead you will partner closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to support the transition to target department operating models, raise the capability and confidence of our people leaders and embed our reward philosophy.

Reporting to our founder CEO, and leading core people specialisms including Employer Brand, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Partnering, Workplace and Reward, you will operate as a hands-on, dynamic, commercial and data driven senior HR leader. This role is driven by execution, focused on embedding our existing people products and frameworks - while still shaping future pragmatic people, strategic initiatives and improvements that help us to embed our high impact, outcome focused culture.

Job requirements

People Strategy & Leadership:

  • Together with the Leadership Team, create and execute the company-wide people strategy that underpins our company's strategic pillars and objectives.
  • Be a trusted LT member, coach, and thought partner, constructively challenging where needed and helping define clear people priorities and compelling initiatives.
  • Develop a set of org KPIs to measure the impact of your people plan, with regular updates using our BI tooling and insights for informed business decision making.

People Expertise Ownership:

  • Lead a team of people experts covering talent acquisition, people operations, people business partnering and workplace.
  • Ensure strong execution, prioritisation and delivery across all people activities through half yearly people strategic goals and operational delivery plans.
  • Continue to evolve Qualifyze people experience through ongoing improvements to existing processes, frameworks and tools - with the aim to automate and leverage AI to the fullest.

Company Operating Model:

  • Support the transition to the target operating model by department, improving clarity on ownership, decision‑making and accountability.
  • Partner with functional leaders to land change incrementally over time pragmatically, without large‑scale restructuring.
  • Collaborate closely with VP Finance to build workforce planning for the organisational, ensuring a focus on smart people and org investments fuelling bottom line growth.
  • Use existing people frameworks including onboarding, careers ladders, values, performance, reward to unlock max impact for the organisation.

People Leadership Capability:

  • Create and execute a plan for enabling and supporting people leaders across the company.
  • Embed our people leader pro, tools and confidence across performance management, feedback, reward conversations and day‑to‑day leadership.
  • Lead on people leader onboarding and ongoing skill development, tracking results through team health, performance, employee relations and attrition metrics.

People Operations & Delivery:

  • Ensure people processes are simple, scalable and executed to a consistent high standard across our people experience journey.
  • Maintain a hands‑on approach, balancing strategic design with direct involvement where needed on core topics including payroll, labor laws and compliance, expansion, sales incentives
  • Drive accountability for outcomes, not just activity. Continue to evolve how employees get what they need, optimising for models based on self-serve, automation and AI.

Reward & Pay Transparency:

  • Embed Qualifyze’s reward philosophy through hiring, compensation reviews, promotions and mandatory audits / reporting across each market.
  • Manage evolution of our compensation ranges, progression frameworks and reward governance, ensuring it’s in line with our reward philosophy.
  • Ensure readiness and compliance with EU Pay Transparency requirements, taking the lead on our existing programme of work.


Experience:

  • 10 + years in people, organisation and HR roles, with at least 3+ leading team(s)
  • Operated in successful and outcome driven high growth, high change environments across Europe and beyond, especially in Spain, Germany, USA and India 
  • Owned the end to end people strategy and operational execution
  • Deep experience from having measurable impact across the technology industry, ideally with a software, platform or life sciences spike
