  • Risk Assessment: Conduct detailed analysis of cybersecurity and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) implications within the supply chain.
2. Tender Leadership & Contract Negotiation

  • End-to-End Tendering: Lead global BESS tenders (RFI/RFQ), adapting strategies to meet specific jurisdictional grid codes and regulatory frameworks in the UK and Europe.

  • Contractual Excellence: Negotiate robust EPC and O&M contracts (FIDIC/NEC), specifically focusing on liability regimes, warranties, and availability guarantees.

  • Commercial Structures: Define optimal procurement structures (full wrap vs. split scope) based on project risk profiles.

3. Project Execution & Post-Contract Management

  • Commercial Scrutiny: Manage contract variations, extensions of time, and pricing adjustments in collaboration with Finance and Construction teams.

  • Lender Compliance: Ensure all commercial variation work aligns with the obligations of project lenders.

  • Continuous Improvement: Implement indexation mechanisms, rebate schemes, and performance-based incentives to drive value.

  • Global Remit: Proven track record managing high-value tenders across multiple geographies and jurisdictions.

  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to translate complex technical problems into clear commercial insights and risk-mitigation strategies.
