Role Summary:

  • Managing corporate and travel agent room sales for the hotel.
  • Formulating sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify new markets to enhance sales.
  • Executing operational aspects of business booked.
  • Updating and analyzing the customer database, and managing company and travel agent profiles.
  • Preparing and submitting regular sales reports.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned.

Role Requirements:

  • Must speak in native or advanced business English.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's qualifications in Business Management, Marketing Communication, or Hotel & Restaurant Management.
  • An earth-conscious and socially-minded individual.
  • Ability to solve problems, may involve customers issues, and show initiative.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, a team player with an eye for detail.

The Role

Mana is looking for a suitable professional to provide the necessary sales services associated with its day-to-day operations. This position description defines the services required in the role. 

Sales Manager

  • Strategy
    • Responsible for corporate and travel agent room sales for the hotel.

    • Formulate sales strategy and action plans based on the corporate strategy.

    • Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly.

    • Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales. 

    • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (i.e. generating proposal, writing contract, and corporate rate application letter). 

  • Information management
    • Update and analyse customer database

    • Create and manage Company and Travel Agent profiles

 Reporting

  • Prepare and submit weekly sales report & KPIs. 

  • Prepare and submit monthly report - results on the KPIs and sales performance. 

Other

  • Other tasks as assigned by the Owners and others.

Engagement level, work environment, and remuneration

  • The incumbent’s work will be guided by the owners, and the incumbent  will work closely with the rest of the team on various activities.

  • Engagement level will be full time and commence as soon as possible - with a three month trial period.

  • This position is for Indonesian citizens only. 

  • The incumbent is expected to work mostly from the office, located at Mana Earthly Paradise, in Sayan, Ubud.

  • Remuneration rate is competitive in the hospitality industry in Indonesia. 

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

  • Native or advanced business level in English communication

  • Minimum three years experience in a similar role.

  • Bachelor (S1) qualifications in Business Management, Marketing Communication,  Hotel & Restaurant Management or related major.
