Role Summary:
- As Senior Project Coordinator, your role will be pivotal in supporting the implementation of the Aranya (Panna) Project.
- You will provide guidance, technical support, and resolve issues for project partners.
- You'll verify and analyze project data, ensuring robust reporting and quality control.
- Your responsibilities would extend to supporting community benefit delivery, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with VCS and CCB requirements.
Role Requirements:
- Experience coordinating complex rural development or climate projects is necessary.
- The desired candidate should possess strong project management skills, including planning, monitoring, issue resolution, and reporting against milestones and KPIs.
- The candidate should be familiar with carbon projects or compliance with environmental standards, including VCS, CCB, or equivalent methodologies and have a Bachelorâs degree in Sustainable Development, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a similar field or have equivalent practical experience.
- A passion for Climate Impact Partnersâ mission and alignment with company values is desired.

YOUR IMPACT
As Senior Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the Aranya (Panna) Project. You will work closely with implementing partners and CIP teams to ensure activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with carbon, community engagement, and safeguarding standards.
You will provide guidance, technical support, and issue resolution to partners, help verify and analyse project data, and ensure robust reporting and quality control. Your work will also support community benefit delivery, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with VCS and CCB requirements, contributing to the credibility, impact, and long-term success of the project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Implementing Partner Support:
Contact: Main point of contact with Senior Field Level partner project staff to support successful project delivery
Issue Management: First point of contact for issue identification, responsible for supporting and ensuring partners follow issue management and resolution protocols
Monitoring, Reporting and Verification
Reporting: Support PIPs to submit consistent and robust data and reporting aligned to project management requirements, milestone and KPIs.
Data verification and analysis: Verify data accuracy, collect and analyse project activity and result data under the guidance of CIP Senior Management
Carbon requirement
Carbon Standards: Under the guidance and supervision of CIP's technical team and the Senior Project Manager Guide, support PIPs to implement the project in accordance to VCS and CCB requirements.
Verification & Validation: Support in the Verification and Validation of the project working with auditor
Agroforestry Support
Quality Control: Quality Control and support to PIPs on all aspects of agroforestry, including all sub-activities of nursery, pre-planting, planting and operational and maintenance.
SOP Adherence: Support the PIPs to follow all Standard Operating Procedures which have been agreed.
Community Engagement
Community Benefits Fund: Under guidance and support from Community Manager Field and Senior Project Manager, lead on the management and distribution of the Community Benefit Fund for an allocated area, ensuring Community Funds are distributed and used in according to VCS/CCB standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
Stakeholder Relationships: Develop, strengthen and sustain relationships with key stakeholders in the region, including leading on relationships with Gran Panchayats.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding: Under guidance and support from Community Manager Field and Senior Project Manager, ensure project delivery by the partners and CIP adheres to all safeguarding requirements.
Grievance Redress Mechanism: Responsible for ensuring all project stakeholder are aware how to engage with the Project Grievance Redress Mechanism,

Project Support:General support for the project and CIP as directed.Â
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience coordinating complex rural development or climate projects, preferably in India, with responsibility for partner management, operational delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong project management skills, including planning, monitoring, issue resolution, and reporting against milestones and KPIs.
Experience supporting carbon projects or compliance with environmental standards, including familiarity with VCS, CCB, or equivalent methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to support community engagement initiatives, including the implementation of Community Benefit Funds, FPIC processes, and safeguarding measures.
Strong analytical skills, with experience verifying and interpreting project data to inform decision-making and reporting.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to work effectively with field teams, partners, and local stakeholders.
Bachelorâs degree in Sustainable Development, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
