About the role
We are at an incredibly exciting point in the history of Unbiased, as we are expanding to the United States of America! As we expand, we are looking for a driven Sales professional to join our highly successful Sales team, with a specific focus on developing new US customers. Given the focus of the role, your hours will be required to reflect the East Coast time zone (1pm – 9pm UK time).
Our powerful platform is the UK’s leading growth platform for Financial advisors, Mortgage brokers, Accountants, and bookkeepers. You will be selling subscriptions to our platform to financial service professionals and firms in the US.
We are an ambitious team, so as a Sales Manager at Unbiased, you need bags of determination, focus and desire to make a difference and help us meet our growth plans.
You will be working in a small but talented sales team; you will have the opportunity to be part of a growing team and internationally expanding business. With us you will get a chance to input your ideas and help shape the sales team strategy so that we meet our ambitious growth plans.
In a nutshell, you’ll be responsible for…
The full 360 sales cycle! You will play your part in prospecting & lead generation, planning sales calls, meetings/demos and nurturing your leads through your sales pipeline. You will balance your time between outbound calling to prospects to build up your pipeline and nurturing your pipeline so that you close deals to meet daily, monthly, and weekly sales targets.
You’ll be selling to a range of verticals, so you will need to adapt your approach and manage your time effectively to hit targets within each vertical.
To succeed, you’ll need…
- Previous experience of working in a sales environment, ideally 3+ years (software sales is a bonus)
- Determination, focus and a desire to make a difference
- Willingness to adapt to change and try new ideas
- To be driven to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, ever-changing start up environment, and can organise & prioritise your work independently
- Comfortable with covering all aspects of the sales cycle. You will be responsible for filling your pipeline through effective outbound calling to prospects
- The ability to build close relationships quickly, and develop deep levels of trust that enable you to persuade and influence decision-making
- To be passionately committed to going above and beyond for your customers, pulling in whatever resources you need to deliver the best experience for them
- To be able to simplify the most complex topics in a way that anyone can understand
- To be driven to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, ever-changing start up environment, and can organise & prioritise your work independently
