About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our London based scrum team. The Technology team is primarily offshore but we have a London scrum team to be closer to our internal customers and for the diversity that it brings. 

The London team is responsible for developing and maintaining key areas of our platform dedicated to providing our professional subscribers with top-notch service. It includes developing and maintaining a SPA dashboard, managing a core service that matches consumers with professionals, and developing integrations with systems. The team ensures that professionals have access to the necessary tools and support to succeed in their business with us.

We are always looking to improve our tech stack so that we can take advantage of new capabilities made available by frameworks and tools such as Vue.js, Graphql and Kubernetes, in addition our tech is fully in the cloud with Google Cloud Platform. We are growing as a business and as a technology function too and we are looking for a great developer that can bring their own expertise to push forward our overall technical excellence

Skills & Experience

• Excellent working knowledge in either Go or PHP (and a modern PHP framework, Symfony preferred but not essential)
• Experience designing distributed systems, understanding of design patterns and best practices
• Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Vue or React
• Experience developing containerized applications

• Experience working in a CI/CD and Kubernetes environment preferred
• Experience working with bug trackers and Git
• Agile approach, ability to quickly implement solutions from idea to release
