Role Summary

  • Create ski content for Carv's app, YouTube and social media channels, and potentially the big screen.
  • Develop creative concepts and undertake productions in various formats, including on location in mountain environments.
  • Collaborate with editors, athletes and team members to turn creative visions into reality.
  • Manage shoot logistics such as permits, travel and equipment coordination.
  • Ensure all projects are consistent in terms of storytelling, brand voice and production quality.

Role Requirements

  • A high-level follow-cam skier with filming experience on skis
  • Minimum of 3 years of videography and production experience
  • Expert in camera operation, lighting, and audio for dynamic outdoor environments
  • Proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passion for skiing and familiarity with ski culture and content
  • Preferred background as a ski instructor or coach
  • Experience using ski follow-cam with gimbal or similar equipment

We are looking for a passionate Ski Filmer and videographer to join our creative team. This role is perfect for someone with a love for storytelling, strong technical skills, and a deep connection to the mountains. You’ll oversee the entire production process, helping create the best inspirational and education skiing content on youtube, ensuring that every project meets Carv’s high standards of creativity and excellence, and generally building the ultimate ski filming machine!

About Us

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and shoot content for Carv’s app, YouTube, and social media channels, and hopefully soon the big screen.
  • Develop creative concepts and execute productions across a variety of formats, including on-location shoots in mountain environments.
  • Collaborate closely with editors, athletes, and other team members to bring creative visions to life.
  • Manage logistics for shoots, including permits, travel, and equipment coordination.
  • Ensure consistency in storytelling, brand voice, and production quality across all projects.

Requirements:

  • HIGH LEVEL FOLLOW CAM SKIER - experience filming on skis REQUIRED!
  • 3+ years of videography and production experience.
  • Expert in camera operation, lighting, and audio for dynamic outdoor environments.
  • Proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
  • Great attention to detail - loves to get the little things right.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience managing complex shoots.
  • Passion for skiing and familiarity with ski culture and content.
  • Knowledge of ski improvement - background as a ski instructor or coach preferred, not essential
  • Experience skiing follow-cam with a gimbal or other similar equipment
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, often in challenging outdoor conditions.


Location and Remuneration

  • Flexible: Near major ski resorts in the DACH region, USA/Canada, or London, UK.
  • Competitive salary depending on experience - we’re looking for the best filmers in the world!
