Role Summary:
- Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and multi-year forecasting
- Analyze financial and operational performance and recommend efficiency improvements
- Develop and deliver high-quality management reports, dashboards, and scenario analyses
- Drive process improvements in planning and reporting and support strategic initiatives
- Undertake ad hoc finance projects and deputize for other finance managers as necessary
Role Requirements:
- Qualified to ACA, ACCA, or CIMA level
- Experience in a similar role required; charity sector experience is a plus
- Proven track record of risk scenario modeling, managing project budgets, and cash flow forecasting
- Strong analytical and leadership skills, along with excellent communication skills

The role: As a Finance Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis, you will lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and multi-year forecasting to ensure the financial sustainability of our organization. You will analyze financial and operational performance, providing insights, recommending efficiency improvements, and supporting risk mitigation. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering high-quality management reports, dashboards, and scenario analyses for senior leadership and the board. Additionally, you will drive process improvements in planning and reporting and support strategic initiatives. The role also involves undertaking ad hoc finance projects and deputizing for other finance managers as needed.
Job requirements: You should be qualified to ACA, ACCA, or CIMA level, with previous experience in a similar role. Experience in the charity sector, while advantageous, is not essential. You should have a proven track record of producing risk scenario modeling and planning, managing project budgets, and cash flow forecasting, as well as producing management information. Strong analytical skills and leadership capabilities are essential, along with excellent communication skills to translate complex financial data to both finance and non-financial stakeholders.
