As a registered B Corporation and founding member of 1% for the Planet, we are internationally recognized for our product quality and environmental activism, contributing over $145 million in grants and in-kind donations to grassroots environmental groups worldwide.
The role: As a Sales Associate at our Berlin store, you will support our mission to save our home planet by creating an amazing experience for our customers and making a positive impact in the community. You will use the store as a vehicle for change and act as a brand advocate both inside and outside the store. Our stores support local environmental groups through donations, volunteers, advocacy, and events that provide a platform to share and engage in activism.
Job requirements: We are looking for a colleague who loves the outdoors and has a passion for saving our home planet. You should have demonstrated service experience and thrive in a team-based atmosphere. You should be enthusiastic about learning our products, values, and history, and have a passion for the environment and caring for others. Fluency in English and German is required, and experience in the retail and/or outdoor industry is a plus.
Benefits: You will have access to events and workshops with environmentalists, change-makers, educators, and sports ambassadors. We offer unique learning and development opportunities such as our Earth University and workshops in anti-racism and core sports. After one year of employment, you have the possibility to apply for an Environmental Internship. We also offer fully paid maternity leave, access to a seasonal clothing allowance, discounts at Patagonia and other companies, and more.
At Patagonia, we strive to be an anti-racist company and provide equal employment opportunities to all. We actively seek applications from Black and People of Colour (BPOC) and other underrepresented groups.
