Seedball is a female-founded eco-enterprise on a mission to help and encourage more people to grow wildflowers to support bees, butterflies and other garden wildlife. Founded in 2011, we were the first company in the UK to manufacture and retail wildflower seed balls, and our product range is currently sold to over 500 shops and garden centres. We manufacture, assemble and distribute the products from our Seedball HQ in Florentia Clothing Village.

We‘re looking for a versatile Account Manager, Customer Service & Office Coordinator to be the vital link between our b2b retailers/clients and the dispatch team. You’ll also be the first point of contact for the company over the phone and emails, you’ll be responding to enquires, processing orders and ensuring that any special (sometimes complex!) requirements of retailers are met so that their orders arrive exactly how they need it. It’s an active operational role - you’ll be right in the middle of the Seedball machine, interacting with people across our operations and sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Customer & Retail Support: Being the welcome voice of Seedball. You’ll be the first point of contact in our friendly Seedball way. You’ll answer calls, respond to emails and guide retail partners through the order process. We’re looking for someone with a happy, friendly and professional phone manner who is proactive about picking up the phone and enjoys helping people.
- Retailer-Dispatch Bridge: Processing b2b orders, understanding and organising shipping and labelling requirements for our retailers and translating those for our dispatch team to ensure all deliveries are sent correctly. We’re looking for someone who can work and communicate well across different teams.
- Data & Documentation: Completing supplier documentation and forms, updating product data in spreadsheets and our CRM system and generally ensuring all record-keeping is up to date and accurate.
- Office Administration: Keeping the Seedball HQ running smoothly - everything from ordering seeds, compost, milk and stationery to managing utility readings.
We're ideally looking for someone who is:
- Professional, upbeat, and proactive about picking up the phone or approaching people within the team to solve a problem, and enjoys talking to people.
- Has a great eye for detail and can follow processes with diligence and care.
- Is good at problem solving - you can handle issues with a calm, professional, and ‘can-do’ attitude
- Would embrace and enjoy the variety of a small business and would be happy to jump from a client call to a technical shipping form to an office admin task without feeling overwhelmed.
Preferable Skills and Experience:
- Experience in b2b customer operations or a related administrative or account management role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and re-prioritise quickly when needed, all while keeping attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise across our team and customers.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and CRM software.
