Role Summary
- Work on soccer and football betting.
- Edit and publish stories via WordPress.
- Generate unique and engaging story ideas focusing on key events in the sports calendar.
- Collaborate with staff and freelance writers on story ideas.
- Manage SEO and subscription engagement metrics.
Role Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in digital sports journalism.
- Familiar with copy editing, story structure, and style guidelines.
- Knowledge of tennis and global sports.
- Able to work weekends and evenings.
- Comfortable editing in both UK and U.S English.

About the Role
This is a fixed-term role working on soccer and football betting.
The successful candidate will have experience in copy-editing and sub-editing across a wide range of sports, and be comfortable editing in UK and U.S. English.
They will be adept at identifying and commissioning freelance writers, and managing associated budgets.

Requirements
The annual base salary range for this role is $75,000- $85,000 USD. The total compensation offered for this position may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location.
For roles in the U.S., dependent on your role, you may be eligible for variable pay, such as an annual bonus and restricted stock. Benefits may include medical, dental and vision benefits, Flexible Spending Accounts (F.S.A.s), a company-matching 401(k) plan, paid vacation, paid sick days, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement and professional development programs.
For roles outside of the U.S., information on benefits will be provided during the interview process.
