About Ocean Bottle:
At Ocean Bottle, our vision is to restore the health of the ocean to a better state than we inherited it. We do this by bringing people together to fund plastic collection. We create award-winning reusable bottles and cups, with every product sold funding the collection of 1000 plastic bottles in weight - before they reach the ocean. To date, we’ve collected the equivalent of 2 billion plastic bottles from ocean-bound regions.
We believe that we don’t need a handful of people doing sustainability perfectly, we need millions doing it imperfectly. Our products and solutions enable consumers and businesses to drive this change and support refill behaviour whilst funding plastic collection.
As a brand, we are change makers - we bring people together, we pioneer solutions and we connect others to the power of the ocean. If you're passionate about reducing the impact of plastic on our planet and the overall health of our ocean - we want to hear from you. We’re keen for people who share a connection to the ocean and with a drive to make a difference to join our mission.

What you’ll be doing:
As we approach the next stage of growth, we’re looking for our next Supply Chain & ESG Lead to join our Operations team. This role combines supply chain analysis and planning with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data management and reporting. The Senior Analyst ensures efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations while supporting Ocean Bottle’s sustainability commitments, including B Corp certification, carbon accounting, and impact reporting.
Additionally, you will:
Supply Chain Operations & Planning
Manage demand forecasting, stock planning, and inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels across our global supply chain.
Manage our inventory management systems and own the system operations and continuous improvement, especially process automations.
Prepare and maintain buying plans to ensure timely purchase orders and product availability in line with sales forecasts.
Develop and maintain supply chain reports and dashboards to support data driven choices across the business.
Support cost management and budgeting processes, including landed cost analysis and logistics cost tracking.
ESG & Sustainability Reporting
Collect, consolidate, and evaluate ESG and impact data across the business - including plastic collection metrics, carbon footprint (Scopes 1–3), and supplier sustainability performance credentials.
Manage annual impact reporting, investor and stakeholder disclosures, and certification processes (e.g., B Corp recertification, carbon reporting).
Supplier Engagement
Liaise with contract manufacturers to gather data on production, materials, and sustainability performance.
Support supplier ESG assessments and corrective actions to meet Ocean Bottle’s ethical and environmental standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supplier performance and sustainability practices.

At Ocean Bottle, we're as passionate about creating sustainable change as we are about creating an inclusive environment for all. We believe in the power of diverse perspectives, identities, and backgrounds to drive us forward and build a team that truly reflects the world we want to impact. So, whether you see yourself in every part of this job description or only some, we want to hear from you. If the role excites you and you're eager to contribute to our mission, please consider applying—your unique experiences and ideas could be exactly what we need to make a splash.
What you’ll bring to the role:
4+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, operations, and ESG data management
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with inventory management systems and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to build automated processes and dashboards.
A solid understanding of ESG frameworks, carbon accounting (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), and the B Corp certification process or demonstrating keen interest in acquiring relevant knowledge.
Experience in S&OP process & demand forecasting, stock planning, and managing global logistics flows, preferably within a consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
Proven experience in process automation and optimisation, setting up integrations between ERPs, inventory tools, and ESG platforms to reduce manual work.
A track record of managing cross-functional projects from conception to completion.
Strong ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights for stakeholders and the confidence to hold suppliers accountable to high ethical standards.
A "start-up" mentality - comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build processes from the ground up as we scale.
Embodying our core principles: Think like a detailed and rigorous founder, Champions do extra, and Give a sh*t and go all in on the mission.
What good looks like:
Maintaining optimal stock levels across all global hubs, minimising out-of-stock events while keeping landed costs and inventory holding costs within budget.
Our ESG and impact data are "audit-ready" at all times. You have replaced manual spreadsheets with automated integrations, making annual reporting and B Corp recertification a streamlined process.
You have successfully led projects that improved system interoperability, significantly reducing the "time to insight" for the Operations and Sustainability teams.
You are a proactive voice in the Operations team, constantly looking for "marginal gains" and technical shortcuts that allow us to funnel more resources toward ocean health.
