Sample Review & Approval: Review and measure all development samples. Identify and document fit, balance, and workmanship issues. Approve pre-production and production samples when quality and fit standards are met.
Mentoring: Regularly passing on knowledge & experience to colleagues within the technical team as needed, to upskill and ensure we have the required level of expertise across the team.
Vendor Communication: Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure clear understanding of fit and spec requirements. Troubleshoot fit and construction issues with vendors to meet development timelines.
Testing & Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant fit and performance standards (comfort, movement, durability). Work with QA or labs as needed to verify performance or material issues impacting fit.
Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years as a Garment Technologist or Technical Developer with strong fit and pattern focus, ideally in sports or outdoor industry.
