We are looking for someone to support our community and Olive Oil Club members and help build an engaged community around our brand and products. You will be responsible for customer service across a range of channels, and you may also be asked to support wider marketing tasks. You'll also have the opportunity to explore projects in areas of interest to you as part of this internship.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a business going through a significant period of growth, and ensure all customer interactions turn into memorable experiences.
What we’re looking for:
An enthusiastic and conscientious individual to support our community and Olive Oil Club members and help build an engaged community around our brand and products.
You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of customer service across all interactions, identifying their questions, overall needs, and providing helpful solutions to them in an accurate and efficient manner.
Your duties will include:
- Responding to and answering queries related to order issues, most commonly: order delays, missing orders, skipping or pausing a subscription.
- Responding to and answering questions about the oil, most commonly: levels of polyphenols, organic oils, and harvest dates. (Some level of specific Citizens of Soil product-related knowledge will be needed, but you will be trained on this)—for anything more complex, or UX-related, then the team would of course be here to support.
- Responding to customer reviews and resolving concerns as needed.
- Weekly sweep of Facebook and specific social accounts to respond to comments.
- Collecting customer feedback, insights and data to inform brand decisions.
- Additional responsibilities could include: storage runs, sample mail sends, website copy support, supporting in-store tastings and summer events.
Diversity & inclusion:
At Citizens of Soil, our vision is for a fairer, more sustainable, and flavourful table. And that starts with our team. We’re cultivating a culture of inclusion because we know we need a diverse team to learn and grow. We embrace your unique contributions and will work to ensure you feel a sense of belonging.
We're an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, family or parental status, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
