Hotel Operations & Guest Experience Team Member

Rosemount is a small, peaceful, dog-friendly hotel where a close-knit team takes quiet pride in creating a warm, unhurried atmosphere—welcoming guests (and their dogs), preparing rooms and breakfasts with care, and paying attention to the small details that make people feel truly looked after.

This is a hands-on, all-round role in a team of three. You’ll be trained across all aspects of the hotel, including guest hosting, breakfast preparation, waiting and light bar service, and housekeeping. This role offers a rare chance to understand and help run a small hotel end-to-end, rather than working within a single department.

The work is varied but steady, and suits someone who enjoys practical tasks, takes pride in doing things properly, and is comfortable switching between different types of work.

The role is seasonal. Our busiest months run through the main visitor season, when the full team is in place. Over winter, we retain one or two people to focus on maintenance, decorating, and preparing the hotel for the following season—so there may be an opportunity for the right person to continue in a quieter, more practical role.

We’ve found this role particularly suits people who may be interested in running their own B&B or small hotel in the future, and would value gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of a well-run operation first.
