Overview

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded B2B Senior Marketing & Digital Specialist to lead the delivery of marketing activity focused on the recruitment and engagement of small businesses across both our charity and its trading arm.

This role is ideal for someone ready to step up into broader ownership, combining hands-on delivery with increasing strategic responsibility. You will play a key role in shaping campaigns, improving performance, and strengthening our digital presence, including our website. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help translate organisational goals into effective marketing activity that drives measurable growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Planning & Delivery

  • Support the development and execution of the marketing plan focused on small business recruitment and engagement
  • Contribute to campaign planning aligned to organisational priorities and programme launches
  • Take ownership of campaign delivery, timelines, and coordination across teams
  • Monitor performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement

Website & Digital Channels

  • Manage and maintain the organisation’s website
  • Update website content, landing pages, and user journeys to support campaigns and improve conversion
  • Track campaign performance and use analytics to identify opportunities to enhance performance and user experience
  • Support SEO best practices and ongoing optimisation
  • Lead Generation & Campaigns
  • Build and optimise lead generation campaigns targeting small businesses
  • Support the development of end-to-end funnels including landing pages and email journeys
  • Track key metrics and improve conversion rates over time
  • Ensure marketing activity aligns with recruitment or sales processes

Content Creation & Social Media

  • Plan, create and deliver high-quality content tailored to senior business leaders
  • Manage social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar aligned with campaigns and priorities
  • Support the development of thought leadership content for senior business leaders

Community Development (Events & Communications)

  • Support the delivery of a high-quality experience across online & in-person events (webinars, panels, programme sessions)
  • Coordinate Community communications including invitations, reminders, and follow-ups
  • Engage participants before, during and after events to build ongoing relationships
  • Help create a positive and engaging experience for participants
  • Capture insights and feedback to inform future activity
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather content and campaign inputs
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery
  • Provide updates on campaign performance and activity

Experience & Skills

• 3+ years' experience in similar role

• Strong content creation skills for professional audiences

• Comfortable using data to track performance and inform improvements

• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Familiarity with CRM systems or email marketing tools

We're pretty progressive when it comes to working patterns so don't let that hold you back.  We do ask all our colleagues to attend a monthly all-staff session once per month on a Wednesday and ad hoc event attendance across the country.
