Rivan Industries (Rivan.com) is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground. We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants consisting of a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor, whilst vertically integrating with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid. We’ve recently deployed the UK’s largest synthetic fuel plant and are planning to 1000x this scale in the next 2 years. We are looking for a Field Operations Manager with excellent execution to coordinate multiple moving parts and ensure our sites are running smoothly. If you enjoy challenging norms, ownership and high-speed execution, this role is for you. The role: Take full ownership of the site lifecycle – take a blank field and deliver a fully constructed, operational site. Oversee all on-site contractors: briefings, RAMS, and daily performance to ensure efficient delivery. Lead daily site coordination and logistics, including the unloading, storage, and organisation of materials. Support mechanical and commissioning teams on site as works progress. Enforce strict site safety, welfare and CDM compliance throughout. Core skills: Strong site authority with a proven ability to manage contractors and maintain highly organised logistics under pressure. Deep awareness of CDM and HSE compliance (SMSTS or military equivalent). Multi-trade practical aptitude – comfortable both managing the site and being hands-on with the tools. CPCS plant licences (preferable) – forklift, excavator, telehandler. Thrives in the field – you’ll spend meaningful time on active project sites across the UK. Specifics: £40-60k Salary depending on experience. Share options as part of the early team. In-person work between our project sites and London factory. Extensive deployment support, including £6,000 per year extra to support with work, relocation, and/or travel between our project sites and our HQ. Private health insurance. Unlimited time off. We encourage exceptional applicants from all backgrounds to apply for this role, even if they do not meet all the requirements listed.
