Embedded Systems Engineer

Rivan Industries (Rivan.com) is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants and are planning to 1000x this scale in the next 2 years. To achieve this, we need efficient hardware and software systems to design/test/deploy thousands of machines. We are looking for a mid-career engineer who can take ownership of substantial subsystems and help scale embedded systems from prototype to high-volume industrial deployment. The role includes contributing to system architecture designs, supporting requirements capture, risk analysis, PCBA design/test/deploy, firmware design/test/deploy, and more. Core skills include PCB design (Altium/KiCAD), Embedded-C/C++, RTOS, and more. Preferable skills include regulatory compliance (LVD, Machinery Directive), Python 3, and more.
