The role: As a Sous Chef at The Dores Inn Food Truck, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting our kitchen team. This position involves working under the guidance of our Head Chef to deliver high-quality, creative dishes that reflect our ethos of simplicity and provenance. You will manage day-to-day operations of the food truck, ensuring food safety, hygiene standards, and efficient stock control. This role requires a dynamic leader who can maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie, preferably with a background in street food, gastro pubs, or high-volume kitchens. A passion for local, sustainable Scottish produce and excellent communication skills are essential. You should be organized, energetic, and able to handle pressure well.
