Role Summary
- Provide in-house economic and financial research expertise.
- Conduct independent economic and financial research to influence policymakers.
- Perform quantitative economic/financial analyses, cost-benefit analysis, and economic modelling.
- Work with financial datasets.
- Contribute ideas and proposals for new projects.

We are looking for a Research Officer in economics and finance to bring in-house economic and/or financial research expertise, allowing us to support and elevate our impactful work with strong economics-focused research. You will carry out independent economic and financial research to influence policymakers to move to the dial on climate change. Your work will be wide-ranging, including quantitative economic/financial analyses, cost-benefit analysis, economic modelling and working with financial datasets. As our analytics team continues to develop, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and proposals for new projects, and to communicate our research and help establish Opportunity Green as a thought-leader in this space.
