OTE £62,483 (base salary £43,738 plus £18,745 commission), with a four day work week, EMI share options and fully transparent banded pay.

Here's what you'd be joining: Beacon is the CRM built for the UK charity sector. Over 1,500 charities, from animal welfare and human rights to disaster relief and cancer support, trust us to run their supporter data, fundraising and impact in one place. We're profitable, owned by the founders, and building for long-term sustainable growth rather than a quick exit for investors. We've topped the Fundraising magazine survey seven years running, scoring 4.9/5 for customer service, with 97% of customers saying they'd recommend us. We've become the go-to CRM for UK charities off the back of remarkable growth, and you'll help us carry it on.

The role: You'll own the full sales cycle for charities evaluating Beacon, mostly small to medium-sized organisations. We have a strong lead engine feeding you, inbound from marketing and outbound from our SDR team, so your focus is running sharp, high-velocity sales cycles, closing well and protecting our 50% close rate. Day to day that means leading multi-stakeholder discovery calls, mapping a technical product to real operational pain, delivering tailored demos, handling objections with composure and forecasting accurately.

What we're looking for: You'll have 3+ years carrying a quota in SaaS or technical sales, a track record against revenue targets, and a firm grasp of your own conversion metrics and deal velocity. We'd like to see formal training or strong practical experience in a structured methodology such as Sandler, Challenger or MEDDIC. You'll be commercially driven, comfortable holding constructive tension over budgets and timelines, and able to push back on unrealistic demands without losing the room. Above all you'll care about the charity sector and want your work to matter. Experience selling CRM or working with charities is a bonus rather than a must.

What you get:

  • Four day work week, every week, so everyone gets a three day weekend
  • 6 weeks (24 days) holiday plus bank holidays, and we'll pay you £60 for every day you take off
  • Fully paid 6 week sabbatical every 5 years
  • EMI share options, so you own a piece of the company
  • 150% pension match (up to 10%) and private health insurance with routine dental and optical cover
  • 12 weeks full parental leave for every parent, whatever your circumstances
  • Transparent banded salaries and a guaranteed inflation pay rise each year
  • Climate positive employer, cycle to work scheme, and a central London office (we're an in-office team with flexible hours)

One ask on the application. Write the cover letter yourself. We read hundreds of these and can spot a chatbot at fifty paces, so if yours opens by telling us how the role "resonates with your values" it is going straight in the bin. Three honest sentences about why charities matter to you will beat a polished essay you didn't write, every time.

The process: Application with a CV and a cover letter or a 2 minute video or voice recording, then a 30 minute phone interview, a 1 hour video interview with the Sales Manager and Head of Commercial, and a final in-person session at our London office. We'll cover reasonable travel costs, the office is wheelchair accessible, and we're happy to adjust any stage to make it work for you.
