Fuel Poverty Director

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join Croydon Community Energy (CCE) as a Fuel Poverty Director. As the Fuel Poverty Director, you will be responsible for managing our energy bills advice service, and ensuring CCE contributes positively to tackling fuel poverty in Croydon. This voluntary position presents a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on peoples’ lives and contribute to our goal of achieving equitable access to affordable and sustainable energy. Essential criteria include a genuine passion for social justice and addressing fuel poverty in the community, strong organisational and project management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Desirable attributes include experience in managing volunteers or coordinating community-based services, familiarity with community organisations in Croydon, and knowledge of fuel poverty issues, energy efficiency, and available support services.
