The role: As an Engineering Manager at Runna, you will lead a medium-sized team of engineers (4–8+ engineers) and guide them to deliver significant business outcomes. This role is primarily a leadership position with a strong foundation in technical judgment. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align goals, manage ambiguities, and ensure high-quality delivery. Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of team leadership, fostering an environment for growth and innovation, and maintaining accountability for your team's performance.

Job requirements: We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, including roles in technical leadership or engineering management. You should have a proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects and possess strong technical judgment. Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React Native, AWS, and serverless architectures is highly valued.

Benefits: Runna offers a competitive salary range of £99,000 - £111,000, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits package.
