Seeking a skilled Networks Administrator with 3-5+ years of experience to ensure reliable, secure connectivity across multiple locations, optimize network performance, and support infrastructure growth to enhance operational efficiency.

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience. This is all made possible by our team of 9,000+ full-time staff, drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions.

About the Role Executes and improves networks management; pursues opportunities for automation, cost reduction and enhanced services Responsibilities Infrastructure and Platform Management Implement and administer IT Networks: LAN, WAN, network segments and Internet Network connections are stable Network connections comply with InfoSec policies High availability Install and maintain both hardware and software Work through Country ITO (i.e. via SOPs) to manage upgrades and repairs; ensure proper CITO training Update documentation Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement through automation, cost reduction, or similar Monitoring and Event Management Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and thresholds; detect potential service disruptions Manage network events and incidents Determine their significance Identify and execute the correct control action Mitigate network events and incidents Implement networking redundancies and backup Service Networks Requests Resolve Tier 2 or 3 incidents within SLAs Career Growth and Development We have a strong culture of constant learning and we invest in developing our people.
