THE ROLE Location: Hybrid (London / Remote) Salary: Competitive We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially astute Marketing Director to lead and deliver TiPJAR’s day-to-day marketing activity, brand and performance.

This role is a mix of strategy, execution, optimisation, and team leadership, translating our growth plans into effective campaigns and high-quality sales pipeline.

Working closely with the existing marketing team, you will develop and run the marketing engine to drive revenue growth and brand awareness.

This role will lead the marketing department, reporting to the CCO and Fractional CMO. The successful candidate will be expected to own the output of marketing at TiPJAR, being tenacious and proactive in developing ideas and campaigns, but will be given support to ensure decisions are in line with growth and strategy goals.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day: Creating brand and marketing campaigns that raise awareness of TiPJAR with key audiences, improving discoverability and reputation Owning demand generation, consistently producing high-quality leads, with accurate and persuasive messaging that is tailored and honed to each persona Developing lead gen journeys that move prospects from first touch through to sales-ready opportunities, using layered tactics to progress them through the funnel Planning, building and executing multi-channel campaigns, ensuring clarity across touchpoints, and effective results Driving pipeline and working closely with Sales to determine what works, what doesn’t, and being agile and pivoting where necessary Optimising campaign performance on a daily basis, always striving for the best possible impact from our marketing activity Leading on content, ensuring a regular cadence of activity that builds the brand, its personality and its reputation in the market Improving our presence through SEO, AEO and GEO, and being an advocate for best practice in every touchpoint for the business Defining which marketing channels we activate, budgeting accordingly and reporting on the impact of each activated channel Being the brand guardian, upholding high-quality standards for how we are perceived externally Owning our messaging across every persona and audience we are targeting, being clear with the nuances, product mix, messaging hierarchy and prioritisation of each Managing relationships with third parties and agency partners, such as performance marketing and PR Supporting the team to drive EGC across the business, developing thought leadership opportunities and motivating the wider business to engage with our content and collateral in professional communities Leading a small team, supporting them to execute in their channels, and nurturing and enabling an inspiring and inclusive department that produces high-quality work, and creative solutions to problems Manage team output and contribute hands-on to every campaign, reporting back to the board and wider business regarding the results marketing is having Own performance marketing, ensuring that ROI and ROAS is maintained, being strict with spend to ensure impact is always optimised Track, report and improve marketing performance on a frequent basis Advocate for the brand and the industry at events and networking opportunities Apply commercial judgment to lead generation, ensuring marketing activity is focused not just on volume, but on qualified pipeline, conversion rates and revenue impact. Staying close to industry news, competitor activity and customer pain points, using those insights to sharpen positioning, content and campaign strategies

What You Bring Strong hands-on B2B SaaS marketing experience Evidence of strong background in lead generation Proven campaign execution driving revenue Fluent in B2B marketing reporting, insight and strategy Multi-channel expertise, with an integrated mindset Commercially driven, with the ability to derive insight from limited data or results Bias for action and the confidence to make quick decisions Leadership experience and competence managing and growing a team Strong communication skills, and the ability to manage upward as well as lead a department

Interview Process We keep our process simple, transparent, and human. You’ll meet the people you’ll actually work with, and we’ll give you space to show how you think, communicate, and collaborate.

Initial Conversation (20 mins) - A relaxed call to learn more about you, your experience, and what you’re looking for. Hiring Manager Competency Interview (30 mins) - A deeper conversation about the role, your skills, and how you approach your work. Task Exercise- A 60-minute, role-relevant interview, with a task that gives you a feel for the work and helps us understand your thinking. Final Conversation - A conversation with a Director or Cofounder, giving you the chance to ask questions and get a real sense of what it’s like to work here.
