As Operations Coordinator, you support the Head of Operations and ensure that all destination teams are aligned, informed, and operating at the highest standard. You work closely with Event Managers, Guest Experience Managers and Event Coordinators, acting as the key coordination link between central operations and the field. This is a paid position suited to organised, detail-oriented individuals with a background in operations, events, hospitality or team coordination. You need to be confident in managing multiple workflows at once and comfortable switching between office-based planning and on-site support.

Your mission As a Yacht Week Operations Coordinator, you assist the Head of Operations in overseeing and coordinating all operational roles across destinations. You ensure that Event Managers, Guest Experience Managers and Event Coordinators have the information, structure and support required to perform their roles effectively. You monitor timelines, align communication between departments and step in to resolve operational bottlenecks when needed. This is both an office-based and field-based role, with primary placement in Split, Croatia.

The ideal candidate Working at Yacht Week requires responsibility, adaptability and clarity under pressure. You will often act as the operational bridge between strategic direction and on-the-ground execution. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain oversight across several moving parts at once. While primarily office-based in Split, you will also be present on-site during critical operational moments. This is a unique opportunity to gain high-level exposure to international event operations while being based in one of the most dynamic sailing destinations in Europe.

Your weekly schedule The workweek follows operational demand. During peak season, workload increases in line with Yacht Week departures running from Saturday to Friday. Office coordination is continuous, with additional on-site presence during major event days and operational transitions. Exact scheduling varies depending on season and operational requirements.

Popular venues Although primarily office-based, the Operations Coordinator works closely with teams operating across beach clubs, open-air island venues, sailing routes and partner venues in Croatia, Greece, Italy and other Yacht Week destinations. What you get This is a paid position based in Split, Croatia. Accommodation support may be discussed depending on contract terms. Travel to other destinations, if required, is covered as agreed. You will work closely with senior leadership and gain direct insight into international event operations at scale.
