Role Summary
- The Rails Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Role Requirements
- 2+ years professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with relational databases and caching systems: PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on Heroku and AWS.
- Proficient in Git/GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Product-focused mindset with attention to user experience and quality.

This role contributes to the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that meet product requirements and maintain platform reliability, scalability, and performance. What we are looking for You are You will Develop, test, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement new features and improve existing functionality. Identify and implement enhancements to system performance, scalability, and maintainability. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across the team. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Maintain documentation for systems, components, and processes as needed. Contribute to platform architecture discussions and propose improvements where appropriate. Work within agile/iterative development processes, delivering projects within set timelines. Your profile 2+ years professional experience developing web applications with Ruby on Rails. Strong understanding of modern Rails practices, including Hotwire (Turbo, Stimulus). Experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with relational databases and caching systems: PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq. Experience deploying and managing applications on Heroku and AWS. Proficient in Git/GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Knowledge of performance optimization, testing, and debugging within Rails applications.
