Sports Marketing & Community Manager Apidura is looking for a dynamic Sports Marketing & Community Manager to join its London (UK) team to help grow and strengthen our global community through athlete partnerships, ambassador relationships and social media.

This role will support Apidura’s global brand and external communication goals by creating meaningful connections between the brand and the riders, athletes and communities that shape modern bikepacking and gravel culture. Through athlete partnerships, community engagement and social media storytelling, the role will help develop authentic connections across a variety of platforms and touchpoints. The position will suit candidates who are equally comfortable building relationships, managing athletes and ambassadors, developing community-focused activations and engaging with online communities in various forms.

Responsibilities The core responsibilities of the position will include: Ambassador and Team Relationship Management Managing relationships with athletes, ambassadors and teams across a range of disciplines, creating meaningful relationships and supporting riders product needs, creating storytelling and content opportunities whilst ensuring partnerships align with Apidura’s wider brand positioning and values. Community Management Engaging with riders and communities across social media platforms, forums, events and relevant digital spaces. Building meaningful relationships with our audience, proactively identifying conversations for Apidura to participate in and helping foster a strong sense of community around the brand. Community Storytelling Plan and develop opportunities for community storytelling across our brand channels and assists with the creation of wider community-focused content including newsletters, journal stories and athlete features. Campaign Support Working closely with digital, marketing and communications teams to support campaign rollouts across athlete partnerships, events, product launches and community initiatives, ensuring alignment across messaging, themes and seasonal priorities. Events & Activations Support the planning and delivery of community activations, athlete projects, races and industry events that strengthen Apidura’s visibility and deepen engagement with our audience. Skills Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be an excellent copywriter. Demonstrate a strong understanding of community-led brand building and the nuances of modern social media platforms. Be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple relationships and projects simultaneously. Have the interest, energy and flexibility to work within the fast-paced environment of a growing business and wear multiple hats.

Experience Have experience in sports marketing, community management, social media or a similar role with relevant and applicable skills. Experience working with athletes, ambassadors, creators or communities would be a significant advantage. While direct experience within the bikepacking and cycling industry is not essential, a genuine interest in cycling, the outdoors and adventure culture is important, alongside alignment with Apidura’s values of sustainability, honesty and thoughtful design.

Additional Requirements Candidate must be authorised to work in the UK. What we offer: Hybrid working, with 3 days in the office.
