Finance Manager (Part Time)

About Us We are the team behind Barge East and Skuna Boats, operating unique, award-winning hospitality and leisure experiences in London. With a combined team of around 60-70 people, we are a fast-paced, growing business. We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day finances and help ensure our continued profitability.

The Role Reporting directly to the founders, you will be the financial engine of the business. You will manage everything from payroll to reporting, working closely with our external accountants and ensuring our margins stay healthy.

Key Responsibilities Payroll: Manage end-to-end payroll for our team of 60-70 staff, handling variable hours, rotas, and hospitality specific complexities. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date daily financial records across both businesses. Reporting: Produce monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports for the founders. Accountant Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for our external accountants, ensuring a smooth year-end process. Commercial & Profitability: Carry out routine stock checks (F&B and leisure supplies), analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), and proactively flag areas where we can improve margins and profitability.

About You Experienced in an SME finance environment (hospitality or leisure sector experience is a massive bonus). Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workload. Strong understanding of payroll software and accounting systems (e.g., Xero). A strong communicator who can translate financial data into clear business advice.
