Commercial Director

Rivan Industries is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise industries you can’t electrify. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground.

The role: As a Commercial Director at Rivan Industries, you will have full responsibility for the effective operation of our site. Your main tasks will include building a commercial pipeline to achieve Rivan targets, having end-to-end ownership from outreach and engagement, through to negotiation, close, and delivery. You will also be responsible for market-mapping and execution, forging contracts and relationships with strategic buyers in Government and Military, and accelerating funding opportunities.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of professional experience, preferably with a Bachelor’s or Masters in a related field, with a preference to engineering. Experience in originating and scaling hardware, energy, or infrastructure companies is crucial. A track record of large-scale contract procurement in eMethane, biogas, or related markets is required.

Benefits: The position offers a £125k base salary with additional OTE. Share options are also provided as part of the early team. The role requires in-person work at our headquarters in South Bermondsey, London.
