In the role of Director of Foodservice for Canada, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving distribution and sales in alignment with Oatly's values and mission,
  • Increasing brand awareness,
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders,
  • Implementing a foodservice distribution sale strategy across Canada, and
  • Managing and coordinating account and budget activities for your region.

Role requirements:

  • Over 7 years experience in foodservice with a strong understanding of its landscape,
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience,
  • Willingness to travel over 50% within the Toronto and Montreal metro areas,
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, and
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a plus.

The role: As the Director of Foodservice for Canada, you will be responsible for driving distribution and sales with enthusiasm and aligning with Oatly's purpose, mission, and values. Reporting to the VP Commercial Canada, your role will involve building market share, increasing brand awareness, and establishing long-term relationships with distributors, brokers, and key customers within the foodservice channel. You will partner with the VP Commercial Canada and peers to build out and implement our foodservice distribution sales strategy across Canada. Additionally, you will manage regional customers, coordinate the management of all other accounts, and own budgeting and forecasting of sales for your region.

Job requirements: We are looking for someone with over 7 years of experience in the foodservice channel, with a deep understanding of the national foodservice landscape, including distributors and customers. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience is required. The role demands over 50% travel within the Toronto and Montreal metro areas. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership are essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.
