Role Summary

  • Assure consistent production quality by enforcing good manufacturing practice systems, validating processes, and handling system improvements.
  • Support quality assurance by developing new SOPs and carrying out internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager in regulatory activities.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a quality documentation or auditing role in food or beverage manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of experience in food, chemistry, or science is preferred.
  • Certifications in HACCP and PCQI, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document management systems are advantageous.

The role: We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team in Millville, New Jersey. This role involves assuring consistent production quality by enforcing good manufacturing practice systems, validating processes, performing audits, handling system improvements, and providing documentation. You will develop and optimize quality assurance according to BRC regulations, develop new SOPs, carry out internal and external audits, and support the Quality Manager with regulatory activities.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related discipline, with at least 2 years of experience in a quality documentation or auditing role in food or beverage manufacturing. Additionally, 5+ years of experience in food, chemistry, or science is preferred. Certifications in HACCP and PCQI are a plus, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document management systems.
