Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Rivan Industries is a pioneering synthetic fuel company focused on decarbonizing heavy industry. Our mission is to make synthetic fuel more affordable than fossil fuels, thereby sustaining life on Earth by keeping CO2 locked underground. We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants, which include a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor. These plants are integrated with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid.

The role: As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Rivan Industries, you will apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles to influence original product concepts as we transition from R&D to mass manufacture. You will utilize your expertise in sheet metal forming, injection moulding, casting, CNC machining, stamping, and fabrication to develop robust, scalable, and cost-effective production methods. Additionally, you will manage relationships with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met during production scale-up. Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) within a manufacturing environment is also crucial.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience and hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering. Strong design experience in CAD (SolidWorks), or equivalent, and a solid background in manufacturing and production of large metal fabrication techniques, welded frames, stamping, CNC folding, and casting are essential.

Benefits: The position offers a competitive salary range of £80,000 to £90,000 depending on experience, significant share options as part of the early team, and unlimited time-off. The role requires in-person work at our headquarters in Bermondsey, South-East London.
